- Functional activities and problem-solving tasks.
- Review of learning and daily demands.
- Collaboration with families and educators.
The assessment identifies strengths and support needs.
Cognitive Skills Therapy
Cognitive skills therapy is practical and individualised. Therapy may:
- Build attention, memory and organisation skills.
- Support problem solving and flexibility.
- Develop regulation and coping strategies.
- Adapt tasks and environments to support success.
The focus is on everyday functioning and participation.
